My World is open to the skies

It's My World Tuesday and I'm sharing a photo that shows the immense size of the Grande Ronde Valley of NE Oregon, where crops of all types are grown.   This is a field of sugar beets, with  Mt. Emily in the background at an elevation of 6000 feet.

My World during the second weekend in July

Rodeo in small-town America----NE Oregon, to be exact.  It's a four-day event here and this was the 65th anniversary. Linking to My World.  (Each photo enlarges with a click.)
