An Hour in the Mountains at 2 degrees

I consider it fortunate that we live so close to the Blue Mountains of  Oregon...just 20 miles from our front door is the summit at 5100 feet in elevation.  When it snows, it is a magical place, so I must go!  This particular day, the sky was gray which affects the "colors" of the images.  I never "play" in the snow; I only photograph it, and often I don't get out of the car.

The dark line at the base of the trees was caused by the heavy-duty ODOT Snowblower.
