Gettin' Down and Muddy

Mud volleyball-- it was the second annual tournament involving 16 teams playing for local food banks.   12 hours of the messy stuff:  the rodeo arena gets "hosed down" by the local fire department about three times during the day, resulting in mud that gets sloppier and more slippery.   I like how the splatters of mud seem to jump off the photo here.  This is my choice for Kent Weakley's P52 and Sweet Shot Tuesday -- Week 35.

August Break - Day 25

The August Break 2013

I spent a full day at a mud volleyball tournament at the local rodeo grounds; this little girl's daddy was a player. She seemed to have a great time wandering barefoot within view of her mother.  Here, she was peeking through her legs at grandparents.
