I just can't decide on one "best shot." I took a drive with my mother to the jewel of the county I grew up in: Wallowa Lake, a beautiful 5-mile-long body of water formed by a glacier long ago. It is noted for its "perfect moraine" that forms the sides of the lake. I'm linking up with Nancy's

I can see why you could not choose, Evelyn.

Hmmm, I think I am going to go with the first one.

How I long to spend time in the mountains.
I can appreciate why it's difficult to pick one when all of them are so beautiful.

They're all very beautiful, but my fave is the last pic... the fall colors w/ snow, the lake, the mountains, trees & fog... it all comes together so beautifully! =)
Wonderful shots, it looks cold!

Really beautiful country. I love that second photo and the refection you captured!!
These are fantastic, Evelyn! In the last shot, the bits of snow and the golden trees make this a standout for me! All are beautiful reflections and compositions, though.
Beautiful shots, I wouldn't be able to pick just one either! :)
Love that red tree surrounded by white snow. Thank goodness we have warmer weather approaching, I am tired of the cold and I want to test out my new craft room in the summer as we dont have aircondition in the new house
I absolutely love that second shot
