Week's Bests

I just can't decide on one "best shot."   I took a drive with my mother to the jewel of the county I grew up in:  Wallowa Lake, a beautiful 5-mile-long body of water formed by a glacier long ago.  It is noted for its "perfect moraine" that forms the sides of the lake.  I'm linking up with Nancy's Your Sunday Best and Madge's Weekly Top Shot.

View from the foot of the lake

West moraine has some houses in the trees

East moraine is protected from development--- highway at the base

Shoreline of the Wallowa Lake State Park, bordered on three sides by 9000 ft. mountains, shrouded in fog on this day

I can see why you could not choose, Evelyn.
Each of these is wonderful.
Hmmm, I think I am going to go with the first one.
Love the composition.

How I long to spend time in the mountains.

I can appreciate why it's difficult to pick one when all of them are so beautiful.

They're all very beautiful, but my fave is the last pic... the fall colors w/ snow, the lake, the mountains, trees & fog... it all comes together so beautifully! =)

These are fantastic, Evelyn! In the last shot, the bits of snow and the golden trees make this a standout for me! All are beautiful reflections and compositions, though.

Love that red tree surrounded by white snow. Thank goodness we have warmer weather approaching, I am tired of the cold and I want to test out my new craft room in the summer as we dont have aircondition in the new house
