For several years, I have photographed a small grove of quaking aspens 15 miles north of where I live. The location is called "Palmer Junction" and the homes are spaced fairly distant from each other. The aspens are on the land of a family I've known for years. Last summer, I made a series of panoramic photos of the trees, cropped about one-half of the way up from the ground. They made striking images. This week, I drove out to photograph the trees in snow. Without leaves, the myriad tree branches create a busy image. That required some changes in my plans.

These are huge aspens - they must be old growth. I like how you've composed the shots. I like your frosty Header, too.
