Be Still_52: Four Things--A Collective Prompt

A loaf of bread, linen, twine, and scissors...

(I would truly prefer to use Lightroom, but I still haven't dedicated the time to learn it.)

Texture Tuesday {Clock and Roses}

I keep telling myself that I'm going to reload LR and actually try to use it...but something is holding me back!  Meanwhile, I rely on Topaz programs, such as Clarity.  Joining again with Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday.    (Joining also with http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/)

Be Still #2

Still struggling ...basically with Lightroom, so I'll figure it out as I go, I guess.  This particular image was photographed with the Rule of Thirds in mind; it was edited with PS Elements (kk_Lilly), RadLab, Topaz programs.

Texture Tuesday with a Twist of Lime

Kim Klassen dot com

Joining in with Kim Klassen's Texture TuesdayI had to find something "different" to photograph indoors, and I had walked by a crate of limes in the grocery store two or three different times before finally picking some out to bring home.  Linking up also with Kristy's Texture Twist.

Texture Tuesday with a favorite color

Although blue, red, and purple are really my favorite colors,  this wonderful sea-green is so appealing to me.  The vintage canning jar is one of those that gradually turned that color over the years.  I also like the grunge texture from Kim Klassen and am linking up with her Texture Tuesday.

Edited with Elements' "sprayed strokes," Topaz Clarity, and kk_cool grunge.

Week 30 of Project 52

I've chosen a colorful still life for Week #30 of Kent Weakley's Project 52 and Sweet Shot Tuesday. It's a sprig of hydrangea blossoms in a glass bottle and a green dragonfly ornament in a bathroom window.

Sunset at Zero Degree(s) Fahrenheit

Yes, it has been cold here, and extremely cold temperatures are simply not conducive to outdoor photography.  But a quick drive on the country road I've taken so many times when I needed a photo produced a striking winter sunset.  It's Week #50 of Kent Weakley's P52 and Sweet Shot Tuesday.
